In 2021, there were 32,000+ people admitted to Germany on various humanitarian grounds.
In 2025, there were barely over 1,400 such admissions.

A group of 56 NGOs has issued a joint statement against a draft law proposed by the Greek goverment.

The bill includes a minimum prison sentence of 10 years and a €50,000 fine for NGO employees if found guilty of aiding & abetting irregular migration.
