Was tempting to skip our victories list this year. Instead, we lift up signs of hope:
- inequality-fighting candidates who beat back billionaire $$
- workers who stood up to powerful bosses
- states taxing the rich to fill federal funding gaps

Outside Washington, pretty much everybody wants to crack down on overpaid CEOs. Good to see a glimmer of bipartisan action with this bill. It would ban utility exec bonuses if rates rise faster than inflation + cap bonuses at 25% of median worker pay.
Utility CEOs are cashing million-dollar bonuses while Upstate families are choosing between heat, medicine, and groceries.

I just introduced a bipartisan bill to stop utility companies from paying CEO bonuses while ratepayers get crushed.

Enough is enough.
