We ended up making several trips down the length of the park. Later, we picked up a bigger crowd and made a circuit around the downtown square. It was every bit as intimidating as what you see here. 😄 #NoKings
Every time we hear people claim that anti-fascists are dangerous terrorists, we remember this impromptu inflatable parade/Conga line at Macomb's #NoKings 2.0 rally. And we laugh. Some of us snort-laugh...but we won't name names. 🤭

Here's Saturday's parade map. The parade route is marked in purple. The green line is the detour for people who need to drive across town. We'll line up on west Jefferson, likely between Clay and Ward (we're near the back). Look for the inflatable costumes. We're supposed to be in our spot by 10:05.

Great news! We've registered to march in the WIU Homecoming Parade at 10:30 AM on Oct 18th.
Some of us will be wearing fun costumes, like those shown here. We'll hand out info flyers along the route and then march/dance our way back to Chandler Park for the #NoKings rally from noon to 3:00.

It's heartbreaking to realize that this still only represents a small fraction of the children who have been killed by gun violence at schools. 💔
