Our hearts are breaking for our neighbors in Minneapolis, Renee Good and her loved ones. We stand with Minneapolis. ICE out of the Midwest now.
A friend in Minneapolis just sent me this video. Looks like thousands have come together for a vigil after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. This was my neighborhood for several years before coming to Portland.

👉 They can say these things. But they cannot force us to believe them.
The government is saying that violence rules. That snatching foreign leaders and territories, and shooting US citizens in their cars at point blank range, is justified. That resistance is not only futile, it is dangerous. They can say these things. But they cannot force us to believe them.

No more ICE ads on Spotify! Thank you to everyone who cancelled memberships and boycotted this company. Our seemingly small actions make a difference. (Well, maybe going without music was a big action for you, but still -- success!)
In the wake of the execution of Renee Nicole Macklin Good by an ICE agent and a sustained boycott that dropped Spotify’s stock 10% in one month, Spotify confirms ICE recruitment ads are no longer running.

In response to ICE murdering a woman in Minneapolis earlier today, there will be a protest at the Milwaukee ICE facility at 5pm. For those of us who can't get there in time, this would be a good day to call your representatives.

Five years after the Capitol attack, American democracy is weaker—not stronger.

Trump’s pardons for 1,600 Jan 6 rioters—including violent offenders—have accelerated this decline. We can’t normalize this. Contact your reps & demand they defend democracy, and reject political violence.

Five years ago today, Donald Trump incited a violent mob to attack the Capitol in a last-ditch effort to cling to power after losing a free and fair election. January 6 was not a protest that got out of hand — it was an attempted coup, carried out in plain sight.

Lots of people are having trouble accessing and affording healthcare right now. Click the link below if you'd like to submit a comment in support of trans kids getting the healthcare they need.
The regime has announced two proposed rules intended to make it extremely difficult, if not impossible, for trans youth to receive the healthcare they need.

Your public comments probably won't sway this transphobic regime, but they will be very important for future lawsuits:

Fellow Wisconsinites, this is a good time to call our congress people. Senator Ron Johnson: 414-276-7282 and Senator Tammy Baldwin 414-297-4451 (Milwaukee offices). Include your representative too! Click the link below if you'd like to send a message by email.
The Constitution is very clear: War powers belong to Congress, not the White House.

Contact your senators and demand that they check the regime’s lawless violence — or there’s no telling where this will end.

At the start of 2025, we knew this movement would play a pivotal role in the fight against authoritarianism.

Still, we’re blown away by the level of commitment and dedication you have shown throughout a difficult year.

Thank you for reminding the regime that power still belongs with the people.
