Tonight at midnight (Jan 28) is the deadline to sign up to be eligible to vote in the NDP Canada leadership race.
The fee ranges from $5 -$25 depending on your age, province or employment status. Of course the NDP have an equitable fee structure instead of a blanket fee!

We took the whole family to @mark-carney.bsky.social Waterloo rally. It was our first time to see a Prime Minister in person. We registered as Liberals to vote for him, and feel he has been brought to this position for such a time as this.

It seems so surreal to be trying to plan activities to keep my children busy during March Break, while simultaneously watching democracy crumble in the USA and reading theories of what an invasion of my country might look like.

Watched our local all-candidates townhall tonight. We actually have a rare PC incumbent who showed up for it. Unfortunately, the one I was most curious about (NDP) was sick. Was glad to hear the Green party candidate plans to stick around. I'm voting strategically this time, but next time...
