Throw back to the Larrmaster patrolling #DowningStreet on duty in November, during the visit of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. @number10cat.bsky.social always takes his job seriously, charming most of the visitors as he goes along.

Private equity firms preying on vets practices.

6 firms control 60% of UK practices. Same firms control pet food, insurance.

Wages down, fees up. Pet owners skipping meals to cover costs, hand pets to rescue organisations or euthanising them.

Change law. Only qualified vets to own vet practices.

David Lammy, "Leaving the EU has badly damaged our economy"

"Untruths were peddled by Brexiters"

"We should work to be closer to EU"

Labour should have said this 16 months ago when they came into office. Better late than never

A peace prize for a criminal that has poor souls killed in military strikes in the Caribbean? The FIFA has completely lost the plot by ingratiating itself with deranged mind of the White House!

Standing tall & proud again, @TrafalgarsTree ! 🎄 It was dry for the ceremony this year (yay!!) and I think the new position of the press pen makes for much nicer shots of you with the National Gallery in the background. Cheers to the people of Norway! Pic set at Alamy Live News.

Australia just recorded zero cervical cancer cases in women under 25 for the first time since records began in 1982. The amazing result of HPV vaccination.

It's that time of the year & the 10 #DowningStreet #Christmas Tree has gone up. I think it looks pretty in that otherwise grey street, a splash of colour. Tree: Cadeby Tree Trust from Nuneaton, wreath: Strawson Woodland of Lincolnshire. Sadly no Larry 🎄🐈Pic set at Alamy Live News.

Catherine, the Princess of Wales visited the Anna Freud Centre today, a children's mental health charity of which she is a patron. Pic set at Alamy Live News. I don't often photograph members of the Royal Family, but after months of politics, it's a welcome change from the routine.

Budget? What budget? I'm just here to see the cat. Just look at that cute little face.😉 The Larrmaster posing up a storm outside the No 10 door in Downing Street. Again. He does it so well. @number10cat.bsky.social

And a few more #chaps, #dandies and ladies on the Grand Flaneur Walk winter edition around St James' and central London. Such a lovely, totally incongruous and elegant group of people. Large pic set at Alamy Live News.

The #chaps, #dandies & ladies of London went for the fab winter edition of their Grand Flaneur Walk this afternoon, for a saunter sans purpose around St James', Piccadilly & Covent Garden. Anyone want to join me and actually dress up for the next one? Pic set at Alamy Live News.

On Remembrance Sunday, before the arrival of politicians at the cenotaph, members of regional police forces, St John's Ambulance Service and others had their photos taken in Downing Street. And of the Chief Cutie @Number10cat did his duty and posed with them. Lovely to watch.

Doing a bit more Royal photography at the moment, just for a bit of a change. King Charles was at Fortnum & Mason today to mark the Coronation Food Project's anniversary (charity to reduce food waste). He was very cheerful and walked over to say hello to people. Pic set at Alamy Live News.

And a few shots of Catherine, the Princess of Wales attending the Future Workforce Summit in the City of London today. She looked in good spirits. Very cold today, but at least the sun came out for a bit, so the light was nice. Larger pic set at Alamy Live News. And a bubble bath for me now!🙂🛀

A few shots from the cabinet meeting arrivals and departures in Downing Street this morning. It was freezing cold in that street and one of my lenses threw blurry tantrums. I think everyone just tried to get indoors asap, can't blame them. Pics at Alamy Live News.

And a few more from the early morning London to Brighton Veteran Car Run on Westminster Bridge, Sunday. It was raining quite heavily until just about exactly when I had to go and file the pics to then go to the BBC Media Round. After that...blue sky and sunshine, of course. 😂

A couple of shots of the #Genevieve, the beautiful 1904 Darracq that stars in the film of the same name from 1953, at the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run very early on Sunday morning. And its cheerful (even in the rain) driver and young passenger. Pics at Alamy Live News.
