The faces that are already up there don't even deserve it. It's a sacred mountain to Indigenous folks and it never should have been touched. The fact that those faces are there should be seen as a shameful scar on our land rather than a monument. It's disgraceful.

I broke my no contact rule with my ultra conservative mother yesterday just to find out if she was supporting the fascists both in and outside of the US. It did not go well. No amount of discussion would sway her. In the end, she claimed I was attacking her religion. I should have just stayed NC.

Update on my #quilt , guest appearance by my prototype doll, Zero, on the right

This past week I decided quilting and attempting to make clothes for my creepy doll, Zero, were not engaging the atrophied regions of my brain that long periods of not working have caused. So I tore my old laptop to pieces to figure out what was wrong with the keyboard.

Spoiler: it was the keyboard

Been working on my quilt, by hand, most days. Will post an update photo soon before I take a break to cleanse my brain. Just one disabled gal in the PNW trying to find stuff to do. Hi hi.
