the preamble below is to contextualize my belief that the "He/Him" on "Adam Glenn"'s name plate is actually a well done lore joke.
The word "he-man" dates back to ~1832 and was commonly used by US pioneers. Mattel chose the name for its generic nature for its new for the 1980s boys' toy line, but then gave it its own in-universe, completely insane etymology once the line got popular.

The embarrassment of acts continually cancelling appearances is so great that I will spitefully close my mockery of the Kennedy Center.

As a declarative statement of positivity, I want to say that I am cautiously optimistic about the Masters of the Universe film based on what they chose to show us so we could form early opinions (translation, the trailer).

I should add that, narratively, this is leading up to the return of Charlie Tidwell, the actual protagonist of this series. Her defeat of the Infernal Hulk and the sure to follow sharp rebuke to Banner and Hulk is what PKJ is building to, because Hulk is just a plot device in his own book.

The way PKJ pays lip service to Banner's past heroic actions, it only strengthens my belief that it's the fans PKJ is taking shots at. Hulk fans who see the heroic side of Hulk. "This is how I see your hero," PKJ's writing snarls. "I've made him into this execrable thing just to watch you puke."

This is, of course, not an invalid way to make a novel experience, but if you miss the mark, it invites direct comparison to games that do it better. No amount of novelly constructed elements is a guarantee of success if they don't form a cohesive whole.
