Sentinel-2, PlanetScope and drone data were combined with #RandomForest classification to track aquatic plant species, achieving up to 97% accuracy with analysis of seasonal reflectance changes. This supports freshwater ecosystem conservation and monitoring.

A new approach by Padilla et al. (2025) uses Sentinel-3 data and machine learning to deliver near-realtime #BurnedArea estimates. The algorithm shows improved accuracy compared to existing products. 🌍🔥 #RemoteSensing
