Ignorance is a wonderful opportunity to learn something new.
Willful ignorance is just plain stupid.

GOAL: learn something new everyday

And yes, I will like your cat photos.

Someone who changes their beliefs, not based on the strength of arguments, but rather on the desires of their audience, is not a politician nor a political commentator, they are an opportunistic grifter.

So too describes the difference between genuine left wing populism and right wing faux populism
It's a fantastic gesture but going by the criteria for the latest winner, I'm not sure Minneapolis a chance of winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Were they following Machado's example, Minneapolis would have to be responsible for bringing in ICE to eliminate its own citizens.
“The Nation” Nominates Minneapolis for the Nobel Peace Prize
With their resistance to violent authoritarianism, the people of Minneapolis have renewed the spirit of Dr. King’s call for “the positive affirmation of peace.”

I was pretty much 50/50 on the Texas Senate primary race, so thanks to Colin Allred for pushing me firmly into the Talarico camp.

Still not thrilled about either candidate, but this just reinforces my opinion that Crockett puts performative politics over substance.

I realize it's a sensitive topic, but it would be really nice if Current Affairs would pen a few words on the topic.

Newly released files shed new light on Chomsky and Epstein relationship
Latest communications undermine Chomsky’s earlier claims that he primarily had financial dealings with Epstein

What a time we live in!

A time when sociopathic narcissists have billions to buy elections and to give to other sociopathic narcissists developing technologies explicitly designed to destroy humanity!

We have reached our low point as a species.

Cyber crime isn't legal yet?

Either way, they can just buy pardons these days so it might as well be legal.

At least the robber barons during the Gilded Age were well read and held beliefs that caused them a modicum of guilt if they didn't give something back to society.

The narcissistic sociopaths of today believe that empathy is a weakness.

The GOP is the defender of freedom!!

The freedom to lie, cheat and steal from the vulnerable and blame "the others" for it.

They are putting the same effort into covering up the Epstein Files as they are into stealing the next election.
It's crazy to see DNI Tulsi Gabbard investigate the Fulton County fake election conspiracy with the FBI.

Why don't they put that same amount of effort into releasing the Epstein files?

Instead we'll waste $830 billion destroying the world.

I guess no one will be hungry.

I do regret the horrible campaigns they both ran.

It was always so obvious.
Underreported is the enormous amount of money budgeted for ICE in the horrible bill. The terrorist organization called ICE will be used as the Mango Mussolini's Black Shirts and will engage in all sorts of voter intimidation, including but not limited to armed poll watching during the midterms.

And then Dem leadership praised ICE as exemplar citizens for thoroughly cleaning up the streets immediately after the murder.
