It might not be the "definitive" edition but the Switch 2 version of #TombRaider still looks great and at a silky smooth 60fps too. Still, I'm hoping for a few updates to polish it up further.

Finally got a Switch 2 with MK: World. Already started a new game of Pokemon Violet and it's incredible how much better it looks and runs. Feels like a completely different game. It makes me wish all my Swicth 1 games got updates too.

I'll be getting a Switch 2 next month ready for Metroid Prime 4 which I've ordered. Exciting times!
Will likely also get Pokemon Legends ZA + am looking forward to starting a new game of Scarlett on it too. Will feel strange to not have it be blurry and stuttering like crazy. 😅

I'll be getting a Switch 2 next month ready for Metroid Prime 4 which I've ordered. Exciting times!

I really hope the next Pokemon games have an actual villainous team again with a rival tormenting you, too. Gen 8 and 9 were far too tame (6 and 7 somewhat). Recent games have been far too "nice". Also voice acting in important scenes at the very least!! The recent Digimon demo shows the way to go!

Playing Sonic Frontiers for the first time. Got to the first Super Sonic battle and I'm struggling to like the game. The setting and story, the music and controls. I'm hating all of it. Just find it all so boring. It's like they've sucked the soul out of Sonic. I'd rather see Green Hill again. 😔

Bought House of the Dead on Switch as its dirt cheap. I know it's not the greatest version, but I'm enjoying playing it in touch screen mode. The touch screen has been underutilised on Switch (cough pokemon).

It still completely baffles me as to why Nintendo made the Mario 3D all-stars a limited item. Thankfully I bought it but there are likely many people who want to play Sunshine and Galaxy that currently can't.

Got an invite from Nintendo to pre-order the Switch 2. As tempting as it is, im going to wait for Metroid. I've got plenty to keep me going atm with the current switch, ps5, xbox etc.

I'm hoping at least 3rd party games have free Switch 2 updates. Nintendo are Nintendo but I can picture certain publishers doing the right thing. Paying for new content i get but for a simple boost using the new hardware? Nah.

I've got a Switch Online ticket to spend on a Nintendo published game before the end of July. I'm not quite sure after that direct if there'll even be any new games to spend it on before then so may have to use it on a game already released and discounted 🫠
