I have been learning Procreate in my spare time. These digital paintings are done with selected colors painted with a brush tool on a black background layer. I think of these like the three graces in art history but taken from a performance by a dancer from Pilobolus dance company.

From around 2014, this is among one of my most favorite paintings and when I look back at it time and time again, I don’t feel I need to add or change a thing! It’s from a time when I was painting figures in colorless worlds exploring the subtlest of color relationships with minimal tonal contrast
