That was the first time a 6-wheel Grand Prix car raced. It is an #IsottaFraschini competing in the 1921 #ItalianGP held near Brescia.

Brothers Ernesto and #AlfieriMaserati, who developed the Hispano Suiza aeroplane engine powering the car, were at the wheel.

Today marks 100 years since the passing of #GiacomoPuccini, composer of some of the greatest operas like #LaBohème, #Tosca, #MadamaButterfly and #Turandot.

He was a great car lover, having had 13 in his garage. Among these was also an #IsottaFraschini AN 20/30 HP.
