So at work today I was taking x-rays of a dog and the dog got scared and peed on the table. Then she wagged her tail. In the pee. And sent it flying everywhere, most notably in my face.

I drove 40 minutes to my 11yo nephew's cross country meet and couldn't find the kids anywhere. When I finally did, I was so cranky. Then the kids took off running, and there was my nephew. At the absolute back of the pack, running, smiling, and waving at me. I'm so proud😭

You have to embrace the imperfections in life. And that includes the brand new coffee table I just bought and had to glue a piece back on and you can kinda see the glue a little.

I have an incredbily painful broken tooth in the front of my mouth and went to the dentist today. After doing an exam they informed me I needed a root canal and a crown. They also informed me there's "nothing they can do for the pain" until then, either. Nah, there is. Y'all just stingy as fuck.

My most recent craft project I saw on YouTube: you get Dollar Tree candle holders and incense burners. You fill in the hole in the incense burner with spackle, then spray paint whatever color you want. Then you put the incense burner on the top of the candle holder and voila- little decorative jars!

The last week I've been out with COVID, unfortunately, and have missed work for the last week. Thankfully all my major bills and rent are taken care of, but hospital visit and meds ate up the last bit of spare dollars. Just need a bit to get through next week when I go back to work.
