This week, Gov. Kemp announced that Georgia will opt into a federal private school voucher program that provides tax credits to donors to voucher organizations in the state. He made this decision without public input with the legislature.

The Trump administration announced last week it would continue dismantling the Department of Education, even though it can be abolished only by Congress.

Without this funding, fewer Texas students will get enough to eat, attend college and receive an equal and high-quality education.
