This afternoon, ICOY honored Reps. Mary Beth Canty and Suzanne Ness with our Champion of Youth Award for their work in the General Assembly advancing family and child wellbeing.
HB762 (an ICOY Champion initiative) passed out of the Illinois House earlier today! The bill is now poised for consideration in the Illinois Senate. ICOY wishes to express its deep appreciation to Chief Co-sponsor Representative Suzanne Ness for her work advancing this bill.

Contrary to Trump's rants, Illinois criminal justice reforms have been effective
Ending cash bail doesn’t mean dangerous people are roaming the streets. It means that a judge decides whether a person should be released from jail pending trial based on risk and not wealth.
