i have a take that i would call "hot" (for engagement lol): artists that have dropped an all time classic album relatively early in their career will have a harsher engagement with their work after that than as if they dropped loved, but not classic, works consistently (e.g. Kendrick, Danny)

since you know i am on RYM a lot of times, i sometimes go to certain artist profiles and see the most outta nowhere bolds i could imagine.
now i saw Fakemink's debut album being bolded. wild. it's a great album, but being in the bolding area? never expected that.

routine comes with doing the same shit over and over again, there is a certain comfort to it, knowing what you gonna do each day, but at the same time, it can overwhelm you, if you aren't careful. please be careful :)

vektroid.bandcamp.com/album/crash-1 finally heard this today and holy shit, this is possibly the most deconstructed vapor-y stuff you can listen to. It's taking what seems like old ads and take the smallest samples out of it. then make kinda disjointed glitch compositions. Very intriguing.

sad that it never got an official release, because it's some of the coolest vapor-y mysterious plunderphonics music i've heard in a while. Wake me up when vaporwave people get to this conceptual/sampling level.

combokuro.bandcamp.com/album/psx always like to dig for experimental hip-hop and this one has ticked a lot of boxes. Has a lot of peggy influences from production and somewhat vocal wise, but for a first project, it's a perfect start. look out for this artist in the future.
