It was nice having a dedicated space for roleplay beyond F-list. Disappointed in how people turned such a harmless and neat thing into drama rather than just ignoring it if they didnt like it.

Normally I keep quiet and just repost porn here but man. Hearing the whole thing with gulpr fucking sucks. It was literally live for 14 hours from the wait list announcement to the shut down one. All the bitching and crying about paywalls is absolutely bs too.

Websites cost money. A lot of money. That hosting service you saw for 50 dollars a month can't handle traffic for thousands of visits an hour. You're talking thousands a month easily. So when a service arrives and it's asking for voluntary subs to pay the bills that's more than fine.
