Enjoying a pre-dinner Aviation cocktail. It won’t numb the feeling that America is FUBAR one year into Trump’s lawlessness, but it’s a good start to a quiet evening at home. Cheers!

Chill Sunday here along the coast. Ben would be happy just hanging out all afternoon watching YouTube videos, and honestly, that’s a pretty good plan for right now.

Ghost has covered Pet Shop Boys’ 1987 smash hit “It’s a Sin”. Is it bad that I don’t hate it?

I finished “This Inevitable Ruin”, book 7 in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series this morning. Book 8 won’t be out until the end of May, so I started “Master of Evil”, the latest Star Wars novel by Adam Christopher.

100% looks different every day. I worked my ass off today and still showed up this afternoon. Try as I might, I couldn’t break 600 calories on the elliptical during my 50-minute session today. I’m tired, but happy, knowing that I’m making the effort, even when work takes its toll on me.

Home from a wonderful visit with my mom, extended family, and friends. Running errands and taking care of business before returning to work in the morning. I should have taken some vacation days, but I’m saving them up for a trip in. 2026. Hope you all had a great one, however you spend it.

I finished The Eye of The Bedlam Bride on my way up north to spend Christmas with my mom. It was pretty great as it resolved a couple of storylines and brings some new ones down to the 9th floor at the close of the story. This Inevitable Ruin gives us Faction Wars and is off to a swell start!

The Butcher’s Masquerade truly keeps the excitement alive in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. It delivered on all fronts! I’m a few chapters into Book Six: The Eye of the Bedlam Bride, and though I have no idea where it’s heading, I’m completely invested in the story.

A sweet pug on my lap, Illy coffee in my cup, and The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook in my ears. Saturday morning is off to a pleasant start.

I’m incredibly late to the Dungeon Crawler Carl series by author Matt Dinniman. What a fun & thrilling series! Audible has them all for your listening enjoyment. I started book two “Carl’s Doomsday Scenario” on my drive home from Mom’s this morning. Thankful to my pal Daniel for the recommendation!

Busy day at work with a “treat yo-self” katsu chicken lunch special, followed by cardio, and an espresso martini with Taylor Swift before dinner. Not too shabby for a Thursday.

Super7 reintroducing the Micronauts as part of their ReAction line is almost as exciting as Hasbro reintroducing ROM earlier this year as part of their Legends series. Series 2 includes Force Commander and Microtron.

We saw Tron: Ares last night in beautiful 3D RPX. Went in wanting to have fun and thoroughly enjoyed it. They sprinkled a few seeds for another film. Hope we don't have to wait 10 plus years for them to green light it.

Just watched episode 2 of Alien: Earth “Mr. October”. Daaaang!

We’re behind, but this series is off to a great start. Trying to avoid as many spoilers as possible still as we make our way through it.
