As far as I can tell, this is the first building with more than four units built in Woodlawn since at least 1961.

My friend Alex and I managed to pick out “Tough Ted” the Tufted Duck out of a flock of about 100 Ring-necked Ducks and Lesser Scaup. A lifer and NY state bird number 298! 🪶

My son’s fourth grade class had a mock mayoral election yesterday. My son said most voted for Sliwa, he convinced his best friend to vote for Mamdani, and no one voted for Cuomo.

I convinced by 88-year-old conservative neighbor to vote yes on Props 2 through 5. His mind was opened last year when I got him to read @mnolangray.bsky.social ‘s book which he “didn’t agree with, but found interesting”. I’ll take it.
