Could nuclear be Hydro Quebec's plan B if the PCs mess up the Churchill MOU?

#nlpoli
Hydro-Québec a sérieusement considéré un retour au nucléaire dans le cadre de l’élaboration de son plan d’action 2035, dévoilé il y a deux ans.

The reform wing of the CPC must be furious that they had their chance to defeat the budget and bring down the government but we're orderd to vote with the Liberals to defeat the BQ amendment.

Why didn't PP take his shot to bring down the government? The Conservatives voted with the Liberals to bring down the BQ amendment to the budget, but if the CPC had voted with the BQ the government would have fallen.

Do you think PP could survive his leadership review if 3 or 4 of his MPs cross the floor?
Never question my sources.
I can now tell you this is one of 3-4 MPs I heard are considering crossing the floor or propping up the budget in spite of Poilievre because he’s not popular.
There are 3 more … stay tuned.

Could be a win win win for Canadian consumers, farmers and fishers
With US carmakers pulling back to the US and Trump once again saying he’s cutting off negotiations with Canada, it seems pretty clear what Mark Carney should be doing: taking a meeting with BYD and other Chinese automakers to see if they want to build in Canada in exchange for lower tariffs.
Ottawa cuts number of American vehicles Stellantis and GM can import tariff-free | CBC News
The federal government is firing back at Stellantis and General Motors and cutting the number of tariff-free vehicles the automakers can import from the U.S. to sell in Canada.

So NL MP Cliff Smalls calls the federal school lunch program "garbage" and claims that "it hasn't fed one child in Canada" dispite clearly there are schools in his district that benefit from the program. No Local NL News Stations has covered this story.

Perhaps if we started using mertic dimensional lumber our export market would be open to the world and not dominated by the USA.
