A beautiful display of poppies at the #BritishLegion memorial at Barry Merthyr Dyfan Cemetery a few weeks ago ago. Ensuring that all those that fell are never forgotten.

A wonderful, poignant service of Commemoration of VJ 80 at All Saints Church yesterday evening. Two very well read readings by a couple of young cadets.
Several moving stories about those that served in the Far East, some that silently returned home and sadly many who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

On Sunday morning after the remembrance parades, a small rededication service took place of a new Commonwealth War Graves headstone for Milton Miller at St Andrews Major near Dinas Powys in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Not buried at this exact location in the cemetery, but he is known to be there.
