It has been 3 years since Russia’s illegal invasion of #Ukraine. I suspect President #Zelenskyy hasn’t had a day off since. Neither have most of the Ukrainian military, nor the civilian population. I am full of admiration for the courage and determination of the people of Ukraine. #SlavaUkraini 🇺🇦.

Thanks to Leadership College for Government for inviting me to speak to public sector CEOs during their conference. Good to meet leaders from health, education, military, local government, police, fire services, and civil service.

I was inspired by some outstanding examples of #leadership.

On Holocaust Memorial Day and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of #Auschwitz, I also think of my Grandad, a British soldier in WW2. He helped liberate Bergen-Belsen concentration camp a few months later. The horrors of what he saw there lived with him for the rest of his life. 🕯️ #HMD2025
