This little bird has become a regular visitor to the garden. Distinctive yellow markings which I think suggest its a grey wagtail…

More work on the house requiring that the kitchen be dismantled again; this time for installation of wiring for solar pannels. Needed to assure myself that the installation met permitted development and stood off from the roof less than 0.2m!

A few weeks back we visited St Albans to tick off another Cathedral. Intersting to see the different styles of the Norman build (round arches) and the gothic extensions and re-build (pointed arches). Cold and foggy!

You’d think that having retired, I’d have plenty of time on my hands, but there are so many demands on my time from Missus and so many books to read!
