Google maps has a really good grasp of how to get from my drive to my house... Apart from it doesn't know the car *is* on the drive, so there's no need to actually walk to the road before spending 1min driving 6' to get "home"

Hi all!
I wrote another book... "All the tales a spy might tell." This time it's a hybrid poetry pamphlet and 1950s SciFi Spy story with cosmic horror overtones... [1/3]
A bark blue book entitled "All the tales a spy might tell" with faux battered cover... One page from a poem spread across two pages. The poem is called "Roland's Gambit" and consists of an introductory quatrain: He stalls upon the stairs, these rear and damp and peeling paint, the seldom travelled access Stairs, he's had such thoughts as lead him here, but much now fails to fall out clear, because An arrow points to a large opening brace, inside which are more quatrains. Giving the impression of the start of process to be concluded on the next page (not shown...) All the merry things which do not happen That one small suburb, of the capital declares independence turns back an expeditionary force by force of firm parking regulations two boy scouts and a good stout stick. Cigarette cards showing deeply unlikely things footballers who don't exist cars which never reached production films not made in this universe. That one day in childhood when Mother buys chocolate of a brand never seen before or since and which you loved and she denies was ever real. The thing about the things which do not happen is they usually are as boring as the ones which did. What is it to you, if, under rigorous conditions and thorough shuffling of the deck Part of a two page poem entitled "Side effects". The poem is presented as a 5x5 table with white, grey and black cells, text can be read from cell to cell in any direction, giving the impression of confused and disjointed thought processes. It is not possible to describe the intricate 2D arrangement that makes connections between text in adjoining cells here, but a couple of illustrative cells are: "pretend nothing to say pretend you know nothing pretend you do not understand pretend you are pretend there are" and to the right of that: "you read reports a doctor's reports who doctors the doctor's reports doctors' studies (a skeleton) birds singing" Such that the last two lines can optionally be read across from cell to cell, and other lines do not grammatically read across, but hold related meanings so they comment on each other...
