The truth is I’m far from a perfect person, not a perfect dad or husband but I’m so different to the me I used to be. My actions in showing up for my family, supporting them in my actions and consistentency is different than who I was and the path I was on.

You get nothing new from looking to the past, pain and lass and trauma is better when dealt with by facing it. I sadly learnt this the hard way, I’m an alcoholic and used to dwell on pain.

The #darkness nearly got me, I wasn’t a nice bloke and was headed the wrong direction for years. Now in recovery I can say I’m in such a better place and living a very happy life.
