Remember
The song. The voice.
The soothing quality.

Remember is hard.
Remember is painful.
The memory is fuzzy.
It's unreliable, I know.

This is a piece of blackout poetry that reads: COVID is bad, people are w-o-r-s-e (worse) don’t be sad I am h-e-r-e (here) Some emojis are added to tell a story that helps illustrate the meaning of the poem. Beneath the line "people are worse" is a masked emoji being ridiculed by other emojis, including a sneezing face emoji, a rolling on the floor laughing emoji, a smirk emoji, a queasy-looking disgust emoji, an angry emoji, and a swearing emoji. These unkind emojis are pointing their fingers at the masked emoji. Next to the word "sad" are a sad emoji and a teary-eyed emoji, showing the masked emoji's feeling.
