If a support ticket goes well I often add in closure “I appreciate your input” but I’m also very old so always immediately get a weeks ear worm of the opening bars of The Bad Touch.

Had to break with usual tradition of being a ftltn and become a RtHon today. If people continue to insist on collecting irrelevant data, I’ll continue to ensure it’s invalid.

Went to a fantastic oracle forum yesterday, incredibly valuable but the middle-aged white man vibe was overpowering. First time I’ve been the only woman in a technical room for over a decade.

As someone that’s worked in IT for finance for decades my advice is keep 2 current accounts with different banks and have a usable balance in both. What helpful advice would you give from your sector?

New mos favourite: not being able to filter out the oracle ‘we sent you an email messages’ meaning back reading a ticket is like playing hunt the useful information thimble. Anyone got an answer for that?

I think my favourite part of the new oracle support view is being constantly logged out. That and the bad display of dates of updates.

How many weeks in and my brain still cannot process which timestamp aligns to an entry on new oracle support portal SRs. It needs a better divide between entries.

Alt text on images matter.It’s not just an aid to disability.If you post image with text in and add that text to alt,I can paste it to translate. You open up the audience to other language speakers. It’s also a hidden opportunity to snark but don’t say I said so!It’s one thing mastodon does better
