Apart from Brexit, little threatens UK security, rights and freedoms more than joining Russia and Belarus as the only European states not in the ECHR. Instead of banning opposers of genocide, Labour should pass a law proscribing as terrorists any party or individual that advocates leaving the ECHR

Am I the only one who thinks that this Charlie Kirk guy who was killed by one of the guns he loved so much looks a bit like Butt-Head, while his killer looks like Lee Harvey Oswald?

A large proportion of Americans are so intellectually challenged and ethically depraved that they can vote for a child raping authoritarian moron like Trump, twice! Yet they can all have as many lethal guns as they like. Is anyone surprised why there are so many senseless shootings in the US?

When it finally emerges that, on top of his other crimes, Trump is an arch-pedo on the scale of Jimmy Savile, will Farage be rushing off to the US to comfort his orange mate in his hour of greatest need? As for Trump's UK state visit, it would be more apt for nonce Andrew to be doing the honours

There seems to be a preponderance of pro-Israeli posters saying things like "There's no Palestine" in attempting to defend, deflect or deny Israel's genocide of Palestinians. If there were no state of Israel, as there wasn't pre-1948, would that equally justify or negate the Nazis' genocide of Jews?

Designating Palestine Action as terrorists for opposing genocide is Labour's version of the Tories designating Rwanda a safe country for deportation. A law cannot be respected if it is not grounded in truth, justice and decency. As St Augustine said, lex inusta non est lex (an unjust law is no law)

Starmer is dead man walking, having made all the wrong moral choices - from bashing the weak to enabling genocide. If Labour MPs don't get rid of him fast, they risk plunging the UK into Reform fascism, complete with all the horrors now playing out under Farage's hero Trump in the US

Starmer has a clear choice to make in the Middle East. Cut Israel loose to face the consequences of its genocidal atrocities. Or allow the UK to be dragged headlong into a horrendous regional conflict where there's no good outcome. Is Starmer capable of making the right decision for once?

Brexit, Trump and now the very real and horrific prospect of Reform fascism. What a bleak time to be living in the UK. Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales need to take whatever chance they can to escape and soon. Old England is looking as if it may finally be done

It still seems not to be fully understood that when you impoverish a country as much as Brexit did the UK, a massive price has to be paid. And it ain't going to be by the better off who have choices and power. It'll be the weakest. Not reversing Brexit is as evil as foisting it in the first place
