Epstein files contain TWO crimes:

Rape and trafficking of minor girls-

Used as blackmail to cover up corrupt transfer of millions and billions by the Rich.

MAGA incensed by crimes against children, liberals incensed by corruption crimes.

We all have common ground here- be incensed by both.

Some things are not partisan. And Some things are binary- some are not. You are either alive or dead, pregnant or not.

The opposite of prostituting children is protecting children- the opposite of pedophilia is not just being silent or neutral. Opposite of pedophilia is protection/ prosecution.

Fairness, tolerance of diversity ;for new ideas), sustainability, wide distribution of rewards- this is why democracy works, why it has to be populist. Corporate logic needs incentives to defeat short term gains even in their own interests.

Sustainability is the principle that will save democracy and allow longevity. Believe in fairness because it is efficiently long lasting, gives the greatest stability for the greatest number of folks and prevents the rise of chaos.

Haven’t reached the crossover point yet- 68% of Republicans still support Trump policies. Needs to be less than 50% to embolden congress.

Unsure how being pro unrestrained corporate profits is Fiscal Responsibility. Still waiting for sustainability in profits, farming, resource management to come.

Starbucks coffee is bought by average Americans. Starbucks employees are average Americans. If Starbucks won’t give its employees a living wage represented by unions for fair bargaining- then the average American consumer needs to spit on Starbucks profits!

Don’t buy coffee from union busters!
November 13, 2025 at 7:00 PM
Don’t buy Starbucks coffee. This has nothing to do with coffee taste. Its about corporate profits versus worker wages. Workers who make the coffee!

Don’t support corporations who unionbust and/or refuse fair negotiations over profit splits with workers!

Consumers/workers- Vote for your own power!

This year’s Walmart Thanksgiving dinner is 25% cheaper than last year. It contains 50% fewer items. This is a loss of 25% purchasing power.

This is basic homemaker math- why is the President touting this as a sign of affordability?

Thune adding amendment to government opening bill to allow Jan 6 Republican senators to sue when phone logs during insurrection are subpoenaed- is an admission they will definitely try it again and he supports the attempted coup. Call it out Dems!
November 12, 2025 at 7:59 PM
Virginia Guiffre wrote about her fear of powerful men who had abused her and threatened her. Does anyone doubt that is an accurate description of the current president? His defense is “She never named me.” Interesting to see if MAGA base that is sworn to hate pedofiles accepts this.

I am terrified what Trump’s distraction from the released Epstein files will be- war or nuclear strike! It’s going to be crucial for congressional Republicans to distance from him quickly to remove him from endangering us all.

Instead-

Make it failed as a strategy, not a sign of wealth and success. I.E.

We partied in victory and still Republicans couldn’t stop the love of the ACA in the hearts of the electorate!

Commentators:

Optics of food lines vs Mar-a-Lago shrimp/crab/truffles buffet constantly mentioned.

Remember Freud’s defense mechanism-identification with the aggressor (e.g. identification with the perceived doer).

This will fly as a positive to Trump backers in identity!

Actually, the Demos found a way to short circuit electorate’s odd short term memory gaps- now No Healthcare, and Republican Willingness to starve men, women, children and babies- doesn’t go away for 2026 elections!

Not capitulation but strategy.

8 democratic senators fell on their swords bc they were retiring and could cover demo senators who wanted to fold but are running next year- will Schumer fall on his sword too and resign?

They won’t get republicans to not kill ACA.

They won:

SNAP, WIC and Healthcare won’t go away as 2026 issues

The healthcare debate is a hobson’s choice for Democrats- which population will you sacrifice for increased deaths for a year to get healthcare for the majority?

Republicans face same choice but seem to see the sacrifice of lives as a reasonable price of doing business.

Party realignment needed.
November 9, 2025 at 8:37 PM
I’m of 2 minds- let healthcare lapse. System broken for a year, run on Medicare for all in 2026. People will die. Or, extend ACA for a year and do this one year from now and run on continue this broken system with third party payers forever. People will die. The groups dying differ.

I think it’s clear the tide is turning against project 2025, the Republican Party and Trump. The redline crossed will be when 1 more House Republican signs the Epstein Discharge petition. Unbelievable pressure notwithstanding, that’s the Crossing of the Rubicon.
November 8, 2025 at 9:46 PM
If it was immoral of Israel to deprive Gazans food to force them to the negotiating table, why isn’t it immoral of Republicans to use SNAP food to force the poor to bring Democrats to the negotiating table for the government shutdown?

Is electoral political death an adequate punishment?

I had heard of farmers in North Dakota going bankrupt when workers were deported or scared of showing up. It brought home who worked and produced. And who benefited from their labor. I now know that I am not a democrat- I am a social democrat. I side with those who produce, with workers, everywhere.

If you want to avoid the monetizing effect of
Algorithms leading to radicalization- don’t charge or earn money for your ideas- just make a marketplace of shared knowledge.
