Amazing book. Would 100% recommend.
Just finished @karenhao.bsky.social’s “Empire of AI”, which is an amazing book. Between this and Sarah Wynn Williams’s “Careless People”, the rot in tech companies is astounding.

Did you know Mount Rushmore is built on land that was illegally taken from the Sioux Nation in the 1870? And the area it was built is considered sacred by the Plains Indians?

It's a commonly used phrase, but still true. Gifts are valuable. Gifts are special. Great gifts are specific to the person. People who receive specific feedback understand that it took time and effort. It builds trust. That's how you should approach managing your team.
