In a few days is the anniversary of Casey Calvert's death. He could have phoned in his screaming part on Ohio is for Lovers & the song would have probably still been a solid 7/10. But he went so damn hard and made it a 10, and arguably one of the best songs of the "mall screamo" era. RIP Casey

It serves the Alien franchise well that the tech, especially Mother, is mostly relegated to being in the background. Otherwise it might start to feel anachronistic that a futuristic society is still using monochromatic screens that look like they're running MS-DOS

Found an app that lets you play solo Dungeons and Dragons. And another app that pays you real money for winning at Solitaire. So I've been using my winnings to fund the D&D app. I call that "going infinite" 😜

Paul Simon's You Can Call me Al has been in my head a lot lately, so I decided to look up the instrumentation, since there's so much going on. I was not disappointed. No less than 20 people played on the track. Some of the weirder instruments were bass sax, fretless bass & the iconic penny whistle

Stranger Things is gonna be so weird after a 3+ year gap. And the release schedule is so dumb. I wish more shows would dump the whole season and let us watch at our own pace, instead of trickling out the content, especially not like this. Oh well. It better be good after all this

My 85 year old grandma refuses to get a cell phone, so I have to tell her the authentication code for her bank every time she signs into her mobile account. She was an early adopter of personal computers & regularly uses a tablet. So I'm not sure what her hangup is with cell phones. Hipster probably

Starting to think I have a pork intolerance. Every time I eat pork chops or pork sausage, I get stomach cramps. Haven't noticed it with bacon. Can't imagine why that would be the case. Another reason why getting old sucks...

While watching #Evo2025 I'm wondering if any other e-sports or competitive games will follow the lead of the FGC and allow mild cursing during their broadcasts. It feels a little more natural. Obviously, it wouldn't work for every game, but still seems worth exploring
