AI agents dominated Big Data LDN 2025, but success wasn't about the technology, it was about building foundations first. After tracking five years of evolution, the lesson for CTOs is clear: governance enables innovation at scale.

An excellent write-up and analysis of the recent Big Data LDN event. Barry poses an excellent question "Where was Microsoft?" and says "if you're not in the room, you're not part of the conversation."

So apparently my client has decided that we should (1) start using Cursor, and (2) show up at the office four days a week.

After more than 6 years there, I’m thinking this might be my cue to eject.

Anyone looking for a coder for a remote gig (or hybrid in Stockholm)?

Back from 2 weeks holiday in Devon. First break in 2 years. The past 12 months have been incredibly challenging. Digital Detox FTW. Also managed to double book myself and had to miss Meatopia. Gutted about that: it's my favourite yearly event.
