I’m fascinated by the logistics that must have been necessary to maintain a mom and pop cafe on a middle of nowhere island in Alaska.
Having to import literally everything on the menu while keeping prices relatively reasonable is really commendable

Finished reading "The Analog Cat" by @huskyteer.co.uk. What a tour de force of imagination, humour, pathos and insight. Sixteen stories ranging from the insouciant (it takes a lot to make me belly-laugh while reading) to the... really quite deep. And I demand my turn in the sidecar!

Watched Countryfile the other night and it is SO solarpunk. Vertical oak forests. Mushrooms grown in coffee grounds. Sheep grazing round solar panels to keep them clear.
