I'm disappointed paid items and loot boxes are coming to Fortnite. It's clear they're spooked by Roblox and worried they're losing younger players, so they're incorporating the worst parts of Roblox. I wrote about what parents can do for @crossplayblog.bsky.social www.crossplay.news/p/fortnite-i...

My biggest ADHD hyper fixation ( in physical size) just got hauled away on a tow truck.
I'm not sure how I thought I would have the time, energy, or focus to fix up an old truck, but maybe now I'll feel less guilty without seeing it rotting away in the driveway.

It's kind of depressing to think of the story driven, single player experiences we're missing out on because so much of the industry is trying to jump on the Live Service wagon.
Yoko Taro (Voice of Cards) said he's been busy working on multiple projects but most of them got cancelled midway due to unknown circumstances.

It's kind of depressing to think of the story driven, single player experiences we're missing out on because so much of the industry is trying to jump on the Live Service wagon.
Yoshi's Island was a game that I begged my parents for at every holiday and birthday. Years passed and I only ever played it at a friend's house or as a rental.
So to not just beat the game, but also 100% complete it is an accomplishment 30 years in the making.

Really tempting. I never got around to playing any of the Life is Strange games. Reviews seem mixed on the remasters, though.
Arc Raiders seems like a game I would enjoy, but also an experience that is better the sooner you can jump in. By the time I get to it I imagine that the community will be full of toxic players.

Dispatch is doing a great job at reminding me that I'm terrible at making decisions. I'm pretty sure I make every choice I'm offered, even the inconsequential ones, at the last second.

For the last two weeks now I've been doing my best to get 7-8 hours of sleep each night.
I've cut back on caffeine and I try to eat 3 good meals each day with light snacks in between, avoiding junk food.
Life's been busy, so I've spent much less time on my phone.
Physically I feel great...
