sure people can have harmless hcs for fun, it's literally not hurting anyone, and the canon universe also has various ways of going about it. i just think the most interesting thing about shards has always been how people born from the same soul can be so different instead of them being so similar

sometimes it's frustrating when the ffxiv universe gives us a concept as interesting as shards and some people will boil it down to the most boring possible conclusion and go "these two characters kinda look alike/share 1 character trait, so therefore they are shards" and it makes me go ehhhhhhhg

first impression is that she was made in a lab for me, weirdgirl with glasses + cute clothes.. if i end up really liking her i wanna cosplay her because that dress is yummyyyy and i want to get my hands on that embroidery
