Today is the first day after a jiujitsu class that I'm not super sore. I got my ass kicked pretty hard by everyone else in the class, but I feel kinda good. Very mild limb soreness, but feeling kinda energized. Very new feeling.

I've recently started a Jiujitsu class and it's fun even if I'm pretty bad at it so far. Thankfully, I still usually end up leaving feeling pretty good about myself even after getting washed repeatedly in class.

Do people actually like not being cringe? Like, I'm always way happier when I can stop caring about being judged and just be the cringe I wanna see in the world. Obviously, not all situations are safe for doing as such. Is there really anyone who's happier when not going overboard with themselves?

A bunch of high school kids came into my place of work and were doing some TikTok dance. I made the obvious choice of joining in and was informed that I "ate it up." As one who understands the lingo of the kids, I accept this compliment and cherish it.

I'm really happy with how the top 8 card for the August Monthly Strive Showdown came out. It's one of my favorite results cards to date for sure.

The problem with being a nice person married to a nice person is that we both don't take the last of anything. So like, our fridge has several things with one serving left at any given time that sit there for extended periods of time until we can announce intent and offer the last of said things.

I actually bought Creme De Cassis and Orange Juice so that I can make one of the very few alcoholic drinks that I kinda like at home, Cassis Orange. It's kinda weird to have alcohol at home. I normally only drink a couple times a year. Still only having a glass every now and then, though.

I'm also trying out DuoLingo for the first time. It lives up to its stereotypes.
