@printmatic.bsky.social We talked about it over a month ago, but this is what I picked up last weekend at a local game show. You may recognize the Konami thing:

@meowchimochi.bsky.social How are you doing?
November 15, 2025 at 12:24 AM
Well, I got some Tron and Tron 2:

@benpaddon.net I pretty much assume you've seen Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes? Is Ashes worth trying to pick up?

I finished watching Life on Mars, after having known about it for years. It holds up pretty well. Some of the British stuff lost me a bit, but I was more or less able to follow the show. Liz White was very adorable as Annie and Philip Glenister was great.

This is what I grabbed at the local retro game show yesterday. Lemme know what you think:

At this point why would *anyone* believe either the Gremlins 3 and/or The Mummy news? Unless I see actual, non-AI produced trailers, I don't buy either bit of story. And even then, until I see either movie in a theater, I won't believe it? Why? Because of Hollywood constantly lying in the past.

Let's all be real: I'm sure Mamdani will do decent work as the mayor of NYC but the only reason he ran at all is because he wanted to do a cameo on Law & Order: SVU.

I'm doing what all the cool kids are doing on a Wednesday night: documenting the controls for Starcraft: Ghost, and backing up my debug Xbox hard drive.

What is everyone else up to?

I've finished a complete viewing of The Golden Girls, from start to finish.

Yes, be awed and impressed by me.

The Golden Girls, more prescient today than it was 33 years ago:

Well, I picked up a used copy of the last actually good Burnout game:

Theo Von is like the grown-up version of "Cro", just with an even shittier haircut.

I've hit season 6 of The Golden Girls and it continues to be good. But man, I wish Empty Nest was on DVD. The few crossovers GG has had, have been fun. I miss Harry.

Ethan should go work at Epic. They'll get their Games Store off the ground, any day now.
I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.

I don't go to church on Sunday. I just play an hour of this every Sunday and that'll get me into Heaven when I eventually die:

It's going to be real funny when a Democrat becomes president again, and his or her first order is to bulldoze the ballroom Trump built, right?

Bought a suspiciously cheap DVD set, for something that is usually a LOT more expensive. Will it:

A. Be a bootleg
B. Be the wrong item
C. Be the correct item but be damaged
or D. Be the correct item and it be fine

Post below your guesses.

Am I wrong for thinking this looks horrible?

When you're reviewing a game where the basic thing that the game is trying to do is fundamentally broken?

Good times.
