Paul, your work is very impressive! Perhaps I am biased by the fact that we share our names? Cheers!

When you build a house for a family that needs one, you get a lofty of view of the world as it can be. Heck, that is what happens when you climb a mountain!

Jack-O.
Not just a pumpkin. In my life, Jack is a companion, gets lit with me for 5 or 6 nights running. He is more of a listener than a conversationalist, but he sure puts a warm glow in a room!

Working on 6 houses on one beautiful site. We will make many people happy!

No ICE here but it will be coming! Tough walk up about 1200 feet over a narrow pathway on a ledge above Money Brook in Williamstown MA. Colors and sunlight were spectacular and the waterfall at the destination was worth the effort.

Habitat for Humanity: My local organization has lost its Americorp interns because of the current madness. Nevertheless, we volunteers are building to house our neighbors. Join us; anyone can do it and your help is needed.

Little free library does not just help others to pick a book and read. It causes the sponsors to weed out their own libraries. Result? Sponsor gets more new books, new ideas to explore, new viewpoints to consider. Thought can be contagious!

Little Free Library. My family joined me in standing up the neighborhood library I built. Read: you could end up knowing something!

Just finishing a ten week season at AARP Tax Aide. Led a team of 6. Helped poor and disabled people, many widows, pay more taxes than Donald Trump! Don’t like that but liked getting them their MA tax benefits and making them feel that they do the right thing. Join us next year! (I am getting old!)

This cause is for every one of us… for the retiree, for the mother and dad facing a 25% increase in the price of everything, for the seniors that just lost a collective 6 trillion of wealth that they worked hard for, for the working folks that cannot buy a Mazda. Get involved, people.

NIH. Cancelling meetings is not inconsequential. Science advances when peers get together and share papers embodying their research. These events are planned years in advance. Postpone one, cancel one, same result. So what are Trumpers afraid of? Oh yeah; anybody who knows anything!

The National Cancer Institute is part of NIH. They study the genetic origins of cancer, including rare cancers in children. So Trump folks perceive of some risk or waste involved in that work that must be halted until RFK Jr can weigh in?
January 25, 2025 at 1:13 PM
The Trump administration has caused the National Institute of Health to cancel all meetings. The Institute is a world leader in medical research, with unique projects that advance the study of cancer, among other things. Meetings and collaboration are how good science works! Not in his America!

My dad, who enlisted in the Civilian Conservation Corps when he was 17 and poor, taught me how to split wood. That was 60 years ago. I think about all that he gave me when I light a nice fire in the fireplace and enjoy a cocktail, as he once did with my Mom. Doing hard things makes you stronger!

Thank you, Jimmy Carter RIP A truly great man and a great president. He was well ahead of his time on race, recognition of women as leaders, the environment, energy and the risks of global warming. After his time as president, he kept working to improve the lives of everyone.

Matt Gaetz broke the law repeatedly in disgusting ways. When his colleagues, including Republicans, tried to investigate him, he gave them the finger. The DOJ let him slide. Equal justice for all? Not exactly fellow citizens!
