After much consideration, I’m running for High Bailiff of Windsor County — not out of political ambition, but because this office matters. It’s a constitutional safeguard that ensures accountability and continuity in all forms of government. 1/4

Like I've said for months, I cannot support Senator Chuck Schumer as leader. We need new voices in Washington, and I’m ready to be the fighter you need to stand up to Donald Trump and Republicans.

I’m voting no on the continuing resolution that would double healthcare premiums for 20 million Americans, kick 15 million people off Medicaid & allow 50,000 Americans to die unnecessarily every year.

All to give $1 trillion in tax breaks for billionaires.

I may be more progressive than Speaker Pelosi, but I’ve always had a lot of respect for her. She’s a unique leader, and I miss her tough approach in the Democratic caucus. Jefferies just doesn’t measure up to her. Wishing you a happy retirement, Madam Speaker.

Senator Welch is someone whom I like very much, and I have a great relationship with him. However this is not a wise move.

This is why it’s time for a new governor!
I used to think that Gov. Phil Scott had tempered his language about Trump because he now has many pro-Trump allies in the Statehouse. Now I think he's just bending the knee, like so many other powerful people. Or should I say "once powerful"?

Today, I watched Vermont’s legislative leadership retreat into the governor’s corner and pass H.454—a bill that raises taxes on working families, paves the way for public school closures, and funnels more public money to private schools.
