Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) can cause serious illness in infants. A safe and effective immunisation is being offered free of charge to infants to protect them during the RSV season.

European Toolkit for Elimination of Viral Hepatitis in Prisons launched by ECDC & EUDA is an opportunity to take action towards hepatitis elimination.

The toolkit developed with support of the advisory committee included Irish representation from HSE & Irish Prison Service

After being outdoors this summer, keep an eye out for ticks and tick bites. These are small brown bugs whose bite can cause Lyme disease.

If you find a tick on yourself, remove it, and contact your GP if you develop a bullseye rash.
