The Avs are incredibly skilled, but in two aspects of hockey that require the most skill, the power play and shootout, they are oddly not good at those things.
Still, I like the way they are playing and probably deserved better than a shootout loss tonight.

If that's seriously the explanation for why a play is offsides, you might as well just rip up the rule book and start over. They just wiped out a perfectly good goal because they felt like it I guess.
