Depression is kind of a non-newtonian fluid. If I move between islands of distraction fast enough, I can just run across the surface, but if I stop for too long, I just start to sink into this thick paralyzing goop.

That feeling of checking your email the night before coming back from PTO and seeing your regular 1:1 has been moved to first thing in the morning you're back... Anxiety is a hell of a thing.

It's always nice to help make dreams come true, especially for internet comedy and charity personalities while they raise money for sick children. Anyway, Graham, I'm glad you liked this:

Am I pessimistic that this site will eventually become as divisive and bot-ridden as the rest of the internet feels? Maybe.

Am I currently glad that it exists and I can engage online without being on Twitter or Facebook? Definitely.

I have now also gotten to vaguely ape the *vibe* of @foldablehuman.bsky.social 's more recent thumbnails.

As far as I'm concerned, this has been a most auspicious year volunteering for the VST with @desertbus.org .
