Why do so many election post mortems seem to suggest Dems should campaign more like Trump (i.e., prioritize empty rhetoric and fake empathy over proposed solutions)? There are plenty of things to be done better—if getting better at infantilizing voters is the key takeaway, we’re all in trouble.
