I made my horror game’s night environment sounds, footsteps, ladder sounds, jump & climbing voice effects, etc. I went to different places, recorded almost all the sounds except for a few that I already had, and then worked on them to create what you hear.

I made my horror game’s night environment sounds, footsteps, ladder sounds, jump & climbing voice effects, etc. I went to different places, recorded almost all the sounds except for a few that I already had, and then worked on them to create what you hear.

I started working on the climbing ladder system animation and script. I was able to create the basic logic for one direction (down to up), with start climbing, up, down, and exit ladder animations.

Sometimes I feel like making an indie #horrorgame as an indie developer means, for some people, creating a quick and easy game with prebuilt environments, mechanisms, and basic non-scary jump scares. It makes me sad 😢.
