GOOD NEWS: While getting back to any sense of normal will no doubt feel like crawling backwards up a volcanic mountain with trolls throwing rocks and rolling flaming boulders down at us, keep these 10 things in mind:
Trump needed a distraction from Epstein/his health? Pow! Propose a Presidential Medal of Freedom for Giuliani! You think it's a coincidence that this is happening during all the big drama? Someone rear-ending Giuliani's car yesterday reminded Trump's team the clown is still around to tap for news.

Trump wants to run a third term, huh? Okay, fine. Let's have Obama run again.

Reminder to politicians: the continuation of your pathetic political career is vastly outweighed by your oath of office and the good of the country. This is even more true for politicians older than 70.

Money can't buy you happiness. But it can buy you 10 Democratic senators' votes.

Controversial conspiracy theory of the week: Musk, with the world's deepest pockets, has bought most of the Dems that might slow Trump or provide any kind of pushback to his agenda. Everyone has a price. This would explain a lot of what we're seeing (and NOT seeing!).

Why are Trumpies so SCARED of everything? Cartels, immigrants, brown & black people, vaccines, non-English languages, education, LGBTQ people, contrails. "Get guns! Close borders! Remove rights! Legalize only stuff I like/believe in!" How about moving to an island to live out your crazy elsewhere?

Stop scrolling a minute please. Hear me out. Given that Musk just strolled in and took over the federal payment system, so far without pushback or consequence, doesn't Stephen Spoonamore's post now seem even MORE plausible?

A big portion of our federal government has been taken over, True Believers passing onto the Senate, Elon taking over federal payments system, talk of taking over Greenland, tariffs... And the wrecking ball isn't stopping. While the Dems introduce a bill? Into a Congress where they're the minority?
