I still think it's kinda weird that Ben is still playing on the new LP?? Like why wouldn't they just rerecord whatever it was??? Must be something that Rick didn't like?? IDK, very weird

Just finished Echo of a Rose. Such a curious mix of drum machines and acoustic drums. Hard to top a great live version, but that was pretty good

I like the new album so far. It's definitely dryer and sounds like a band in a room.

Wolfie absolutely killing this Ozzy classic. Very emotional and crazy that they learned that in like 4 hours and he nailed the solo note for note. Incredible job by Wolf and the band!!!

Goose should absolutely cover Mama I'm Coming Home, when they return to tour. People would go insane, and I think Rick could actually sing that one well. Just an idea, but seems like it would fit perfectly, even just a one off. With Peter playing the 12 string part

Highlights of the Sabbath tribute:

1. Under the Sun from Mastodon
2.Ultimate Sin - Lizzy Hale and supergroup
3. TOOL - Hand of Doom
4. GN'R All 3 Sabbath covers were perfect. Axl sounds terrible but the band was rock solid. They rehearsed that stuff at least 50 times
5. Metallica - Johnny Blade

Wow....
Jurassic World Rebirth is a top 10 worst movie of all time. I struggled to pay attention, even during the dino parts. I eventually dozed off during the last 15 minutes, but don't worry. They made it thru. I mean some died, but ScarJo was alive and well

From the couch I thought they delivered big time and as I rewatch the first set, they clearly had a plan and executed it flawlessly. Transitions were tight, and there were several big jams that went places. Luck is when opportunity meets preparation

4 hours of music is a baller move.

Love how they completely broke that down before they even started the jam in Factory Fiction.

I bet they are so nervous right now. I mean, this is a big one. If Ryan is unhappy tomorrow??? It could spell big trouble for them.

Last night's Xmas card from a hooker in Minneapolis, was the best one they've ever done. Rick nailed all the lyrics and inflection and it was perfect. 10/10 no notes
June 28, 2025 at 7:45 PM
At exactly this moment during the jam they clearly go into a "Love is a Battlefield" jam. They play it for over 4 minutes and I've seen no official mention of it. I mean.... Clear as day to me.

Goose threw down hard tonight. My immediate reaction from the couch is that was the best show of the tour. The whole 2nd set was relentless and they were all locked in 9/10 no notes

Cotter did a really good job with that Moby Dick. He played all the parts and was loyal to the "Song Remains the Same" version. Even if he didn't hit as hard as Bonham

So I have it
Night 2>Night 1
But that's from the couch. Rick had a really good night tonight and as a 4 piece they're just right back to where they left off.
May 29, 2025 at 6:54 AM
I bet deep down inside, there's a little part of Cotter that is really glad Kris Myers didn't leave Umphreys after Goose fired Ben. Thank God it worked out like it did, because Cotter is perfect fit.

I bet Cotter gets his own hotel room now. Huge upgrade

Total win for the guys in Goose today. Cut loose the weak part of the band. Make more money each show, and the crew doesn't have to drag his whole kit across the country. 4 piece Goose is far superior anyway. Sorry Jeff lost his job tho. That part does suck

Unpopular opinion:

Season 2 of Severance has completely lost the plot. I know people rave about it, but it is not enjoyable to watch in any way. I've decided to sit it out and wait for the rest of the season to come out, so I can just burn thru it in 1 sitting

Watching the new season of Reacher and the female lead is using the absolute WORST Boston accent I've ever heard.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have seen the movie Primer over 20 times and I am now an expert on the film. If anyone ever has a question about it, I can definitely answer it. I've seen many YouTube reviews of it and they mostly always get it wrong. Just putting it out there 🙂
February 19, 2025 at 9:47 PM
That was like watching Tyson in his prime. Rick absolutely blew that place up tonight. I mean that's about as good as it gets?
February 16, 2025 at 4:48 AM
This Goose winter tour is like their version of when Phish did the Island Tour. A legendary series of banger after banger.
February 16, 2025 at 1:50 AM
Rick has clearly been practicing his chicken picking
