I’ve tried my bass setup on a band practise yesterday. To my surprise I did it well 🎉

I’d like to inform y’all that I did set up action and intonation on both my guitar and bass. Guitar was much easier. I don’t know who in Sandberg invented their bridge. Let’s try the new setup for a few days to see If I went too low or it´s actually ok.

Unfortunately I am too lazy to learn individual songs on guitar perfectly. I hope one day my understanding of the instrument and technique will be so good that all the songs will be easy.

As a child I played recorder for about 10 years eventhough it’s the least cool instrument ever. As a result I learned notes and some basic music theory. Not chords, you don’t need them on a recorder. I first touched guitar when I was 16 or so. I even had lessons for two years but it was not good.

About a year ago my friend invited me to restart our old band Zeměpásy which has been mostly dead for the last ten years. I play bass guitar in the band. I started enjoying playing music again.

This social network is so nicely empty. I can use it as my secret diary then. I am gonna share notes about my journey to become a better musician.

I am no social network guru but it seem that bluesky could be a great opportunity to become a celebrity. There is so little content here that you get followers whithout doing anything. Imagine having content!
