Had the pleasure of hosting three brilliant Year 12 students through the In2Science programme from late July into August, as part of the Menon Lab. Grateful to be part of a scheme that opens doors to future scientists. I'm confident they have bright futures ahead in STEM.

I was grateful for the chance to present my work at the DAGS Summer Symposium this past Thursday and was delighted to receive the Best Oral Presentation award as well as 2nd place for the Best Poster, alongside having the privilege of chairing the Cell Biology session.

Had a fantastic time at Dangerous Matter – a powerful opera on the history of vaccination, premiered at the RNCM in collaboration with the University of Oxford. It’s been a privilege to be involved in project – from speaking at the Science and Industry Museum workshop to hosting students in the lab.

Last week, I had the privilege of mentoring students at the Allied4Health Bootcamp. It was inspiring to see undergraduates and PGT students come together to tackle real-world healthcare challenges and enjoyed engaging in meaningful conversations about postgraduate research.

Thank you to Asthma + Lung UK for hosting "Our Manchester, Our Air" at Manchester Art Gallery this weekend. It was inspiring to learn about the initiatives taking place to combat air pollution and I enjoyed connecting with the community to discuss my own research as part of the Lydia Becker.

Last week I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at the British Science Week Fair at the Manchester Museum. 🎉 Over the course of two days, we welcomed an amazing 1,141 pupils from 31 schools across Greater Manchester to the Lydia Becker Institute of Immunology and Inflammation stand.
