I can't stop thinking about #Wicked as political allegory for politics in the US broadly and NJ specifically. When #Elphaba says: "I hope you’re proud, how you would grovel in submission to feed your own ambition," OUCH! www.vox.com/culture/3885... #PoliticalAllegory #USPolitics #NewJerseyPolitics
Why Wicked’s politics feel so bizarrely timely
America and Oz have always had a lot in common.

First time I've ever been compared to "human nitroglycerin tablets" 😂 but fully agree that the machine should stay on their toes for @stevenfulop.bsky.social 's next drop kick to the establishment 🥊 www.insidernj.com/fulops-palpi... #PoliticalDynamite #EstablishmentDropkick

Why do primaries matter? They make the voting process more democratic. Instead of party bosses deciding who runs in the general election, YOU, the people, get a direct role in selecting your party’s candidates! #DemocracyInAction #PrimaryElections #WhyPrimariesMatter
Primaries are healthy and good for democracy. They create better candidates and better parties overall. More to come on this

Ask yourself - If the dem establishment in NJ thought they would be held accountable do you think they would’ve voted to gut open public records? Or to roll back campaign $ laws? Or now to create a sham bracketing ballot design committee to protect $ interest?

This is why I joined the Fulop team. He’s committed to working alongside local organizers and community activists with their fingers on the pulse of our neighborhoods’ needs — people who don’t answer to party machines or bosses! The best solutions come from diversity of thought, not group think.
This coming week we announce more State Assembly candidates for 2025. These candidates are activists in their communities selected and interviewed by a committees of other activists. I’m not part of this process in order to find the best independent candidates - we are doing things differently.
